Lastly, if you have a firearm in marketable condition, a fair offer will be presented to you if you want to use that firearm towards the purchase price of an upgrade.

Third Party Transfers for Internet Purchases
In most instances, firearms purchased online are required to be shipped to a FFL Dealer where the proper background checks must be done before you can obtain your new firearm. Lavaca County Firearms & Knives will gladly accept shipments on your behalf when purchasing firearms online and will conduct the necessary background checks before the transfer is complete.

Lavaca County Firearms & Knives has access to vendors and products outside of that in our inventory. If you have a specific item you need ordered or need help finding, we would be happy to help.

Discreet Appraisals (in store or on location for large collections)
All appraisals conducted by Lavaca County Guns & Knives are done by Mark Myers who has been buying and selling firearms for most of his life. This expertise ensures that you will receive a fair price based upon the assessment of the condition of the firearm, its marketability and latest pricing trends. Individual firearms can be brought to the store for the appraisal or we can travel onsite to evaluate large collections.

Firearms Training
When purchasing your new firearm, please enquire about the available firearms training which will educate you in the correct way to operate your new firearm. In addition to learning about your new asset, you’ll learn first hand about firearms safety, the pertinent rules and regulations associated with your new purchase and best practices when it comes to using your new acquisition.
